Dr. Jolie Bourgeois
Dr. Jolie Bourgeois was born and raised in Houston, Texas. She is board certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology and is a fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists.
Dr. Bourgeois attended Louisiana State University for her undergraduate education. There she graduated Summa Cum Laude and received her Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry and minored in Chemistry and Psychology. Upon graduation, she attended Texas A&M Health Science Center College of Medicine and earned her degree in medicine. She continued on to the University of Texas Health Science Center at Memorial Hermann Hospital in the Houston Medical Center where she completed her residency in obstetrics and gynecology.
While not at work, Dr. Bourgeois enjoys hanging out with her husband and three children. Her hobbies include rooting for LSU, reading, cooking, playing tennis, dancing, and keeping up with all of her kids’ extracurriculars. She is an alumna of Chi Omega sorority.
Dr. Bourgeois specializes in high risk pregnancies, gynecological problems, and is proficient in Physician Assisted Robotic Surgery and Minimally Invasive Surgery. She enjoys taking care of patients from adolescence through menopause and is focused on providing individualized patient care.
In addition to medicated deliveries, Dr. Bourgeois also practices the following natural childbirth options for the low risk patient: ambulation during labor, use of a certified doula, tub labor, light diet during labor and individualized birth plans.
